Does the EMTEC 8gb micro SD class 10 work with the Raspberry Pi B+? It sure does. I was skeptical after reading a few posts on which SD card would be suitable.

Note that I didn’t have to use the SD formatter as suggested by the RaspberryPi.org Noob setup guide (http://www.raspberrypi.org/help/noobs-setup/) but that was just an experiment on my part.
I scored this card for $16NZD from Harvey Normans. I could have gotten it cheaper if ordered it online and waited a few days for delivery.
